150px-Richard of Shrewsbury

Richard of Shrewsbury, Duke of York, is Richard's nephew in Richard III. He is referred to as York in the script, much like how his brother Edward V is referred to as Prince. Young York is quite impressionable, and he meets his doom in the Tower of London after Richard sends Tyrrel and two other men to kill 10-year-old Richard and his 12-year-old brother Edward in the tower. Later he haunts Richard along with the other victims.
