[edit] About the Indexes
The indexing system we are using is not a scientific one. On the other hand it is not simply a haphazard collection of line-links of value as mere entertainment. It is a reader's tool, and intended to encourage the serious reader to enter further into the play. Thus, a single line might appear in more than one index, and so one may pass over it on one page, but be drawn to it and follow it to its source in the text when it is discovered in another index.
By staying with our system, it is hoped that the reader will quickly learn the plot and most important lines, and eventually read the entire play, word for word, and even learn many lines and scenes by heart.
